Passaic County Communities Commemorate 9/11

PASSAIC COUNTY, N.J. — It's been 14 years since history's worst terrorist attack on American soil, but we haven't forgotten those killed that day.

Ceremonies are planned throughout Passaic County to remember those killed on Sept. 11, 2001.

Local 9/11 remembrances include:

BLOOMINGDALE: 7 p.m. Friday at Sloan Park on Main Street.

CLIFTON: 9 a.m. Friday in front of City Hall, 900 Clifton Ave.

HALEDON: 7 p.m. Friday at the Municipal Building, 510 Belmont Ave.

HAWTHORNE: 7 p.m. Friday at the 9/11 monument, 970 Goffle Road.

NORTH HALEDON: 7 p.m. Friday outside the Municipal Building, 103 Overlook Ave.

PASSAIC: 9 a.m. Friday at the flagpole at City Hall, 330 Passaic St.

PATERSON: 8 a.m. Friday at Railroad Plaza, Memorial Drive and Ward Street.

PROSPECT PARK: 6:30 p.m. Friday at the Municipal Building, 106 Brown Ave.

WEST MILFORD: 7 p.m. Thursday at the Memorial Monument at Town Hall, 1480 Union Valley Road, and Friday at 8:45 a.m. the police and fire departments will hold a ceremony at Town Hall.

WOODLAND PARK: 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the Municipal Complex, 5 Brophy Lane.
